Your Blackberry Torch Running Slow? Tips To Getting It Back To Full Speed



Hi Peeps,


You getting problem speed of your Blackberry Torch? Let's get some tips here. 


1. Memory Check
Options> Device > Application Management > Memory
Check what apps are taking up the most space. If you see any apps taking up a lot of memory you need to removed it or updated. You can also check "Application Storage" to make sure you have a proper amount of memory available.


2. Operating System
It's important to know if you have the latest OS as well. You can check here 
Option> Device> About Device Versions


If you don't have latest official OS you need to upgrade your device. You can always go to BlackberryOS.com and check for the latest official OS. Once you have the latest OS install it to your PC and upload to your Blackberry Device using BBSAK which is the easiest ways to upload your OS. This BBSAK application can be downloaded at bbsak.org.

Blackberry Messenger v.6.0.0.15 Available In Blackberry Beta Zone


Hi peeps,


Blackberry Beta Zone members can have their new version of Blackberry Messenger available today. If you are currently testing BBM Music, you are instructed to keep your BBM v6.0.0.129, but it you aren't involved in that program, you may fell to install v6.0.0.15 and give it a whirl. This upgrade is said to have focused on fixing file and picture transfer bugs, as well as the addition of subcription payment support for platform enable apps. Be sure to do a back-up before installing and leave feedback in the Beta Zone discussion forums.

Tips : Unable To Login App World on Your Blackberry Smartphone?


Unable to login App World: Please try again later is displayed when user attempt to login to blackberry App world. 


If you happen to have this problem please make sure you get your Blackberry smartphone are set to correct date, time and time zone.  If the date set ahead of your currently detected time zone, the error will occur. 


Please follow this steps:


On the Menu please select Option> Display>Date and Time> Update Time> Automatic > Time format >12 hours > Auto Updated Time On






After that please save the settings and try to login back your App World.

Battery Power Saving Tips



Dear All,


Battery life can vary depending on usage. Here are some power saving tips to maximize battery life:


Charging
> charging your smartphones as much as possible
> Use wall charger to charge your device


Media
> Reduce volume
> Use headphones
> Load media using blackberry desktop manager 
> turn off equalizer setting


Browsing
> visit mobile site where applicable 
> turn repeat animations to a lower setting (browser-options-General properties)
> closed browser when finished using (used esc key not red end key)


Screen/ Keyboard
> reduce backlight timeout (options-screen/keyboard)
> reduce backlight brightness (options-screen/keyboard)
> holster smartphones (turn off LCD automaticly)
> set audible roll to mute (options-screen/keyboard)
> key tones off (options-screen/keyboard)


Network Connection 
> turn off unused connections when not in used i.e GPS, Wi Fi, Bluetooth
> use auto on/off
> use single mode only i.e 2G, 3G, 


Shortcuts
> use shortcuts instead of activing Java menu (Browser -options-browser configuration)


Camera
> Turn off flash 
> set picture size to small (camera option)
> set picture quality to normal (camera option)
